Rabbit Stunning Device – STZ 6/K
The unit is configured and optimised for rabbit stunning.
The robust, durable housing, secure connections and high quality of the electrical and electronic components used allow for intensive use.
The device requires no special protection and maintenance. However, annual maintenance is necessary for proper operation.
The power pack unit is housed in a special box. The box is designed to be fixed in the place of use.
On the side wall of the power pack there is a power socket with a special pin.
The external door of the power pack features:
- on/off button (start – green, stop – red)
- a LED indicating VOLUME – red;
- ALARM indicator light – yellow;
- digital display of stunning voltage, stunning current and frequency (x10);
- PIG830 slaughter parameter controller console and stunning parameter recorder;
- inspection window with SD card slot and fuse socket.
The device automatically measures the resistance and, based on the guidelines (contained in the parameters set in the PIG830 slaughter parameter controller), selects in real time (during slaughter) the appropriate current values to carry out the correct stunning cycle.
PURPOSE
The power supply STZ 6 K – is designed for the electrical stunning of rabbits with the application of electrodes to the head. The device complies with the Council Regulation EC No. 1099/2009 of 24 September 2009 on the protection of animals at the time of killing and meets the requirements of the European Union concerning the humane treatment of animals.
The rabbit stunning device is compatible with the STZ 6/K device. A light signal in the trough body informs the operator that the device is ready and that the stunning is in progress.
